The Gala of Logistics, Transport and Production is the largest meeting of top management representatives from the logistics, transport and production industry, during which the results of the customer satisfaction survey are announced. The survey is carried out under the title Logistics Operator of the Year, and this year saw its 18th edition. The programme is one of the most recognized customer satisfaction surveys of logistics operators, providing objective information about the scope and quality of logistics services offered on the market. The survey has been carried out for more than a decade by Data Group Consulting and Eurologistics Publishing House.

This year’s award for “The most effective use of technology to communicate with customers,” which went to VGL Group, was accepted by Paweł Todorow, CCO Sea - Air – Rail: - VGL Group made its debut in the Logistics Operator of the Year programme five years ago as the best new partner of the programme and since then, thanks to the collaborative work and commitment of our expert team, we have remained at the leading edge of the ranking. We are pleased that this year we have been recognized in the area of modern solutions and technological commitment in communication with customers, because this area is becoming the key segment in the perspective of the needs of the growing market demand.

The objective of the annual Logistics Operator of the Year survey is to provide market participants with the information about customer expectations and the standard of performance of logistics operators. The survey results serve as a basis for a ranking of companies enjoying the greatest trust of customers. The evaluation covers many elements of company management, i.e. the potential of the company vis-a-vis its competitors, comprehensiveness of logistics services, meeting the assumed standards of logistics services, standard of service according to the evaluation of key customers, standard of service according to the evaluation of all customers, position of the market leader in the evaluation of key customers and position of the market leader in the evaluation of all customers. It is also important that the award given to the VGL Group this year covers a completely new category, which has not been evaluated before.
