We are facing challenges for which we have been preparing for the last months,” says Paweł Gizicki, member of the VGL Group Management Board. “We are entering a phase of integration of our key business areas, the success of which depends on the cooperation and commitment of all of us. In May this year, we plan to finalise the second stage of the transaction, which will create the largest Polish logistics group, operating under the name VGL Solid Group.”

Three of Solid Logistics’ existing members of the management board will be incorporated into the structure of VGL Solid Group – two representatives of this company will join the Supervisory Board, while the third will become a member of the management board of the newly-formed organisation. As a result, the final composition of VGL Solid Group’s management staff will include six people – the current management staff will be joined by Bolesław Chełkowski, who is currently a member of Solid Logistics’ management board, and after the integration will be in charge of sales management within the portfolio of Solid Logistics’ current customers and will simultaneously take over supervision of the warehouse logistics segment.

“The key to success is the synergy of the potentials we have. This includes us as employees, our relationships with customers and suppliers, as well as our product range, efficiency and flexibility. I know that we are only at the beginning of this common path, but I believe that by combining the best in us, together we will create new opportunities for the development of the future organisation,” says Bolesław Chełkowski.

Once the integration process is complete, VGL Solid Group will be a team of approximately 800 employees working in more than a dozen locations across the country.

Working for a company that is a leader in the logistics market brings many benefits also for the employees,” says Katarzyna Jankowska, HR Director and Member of the Management Board of VGL Group. “Extensive development opportunities, access to training, the chance to participate in a variety of projects inside and outside the organisation, to name just a few. We have numerous integration and communication projects planned so that employees can get to know one another, exchange knowledge and experiences and engage in mutual support. We aim to focus on what we have in common, and together we want to develop a new corporate culture that makes VGL Solid Group a friendly place to work for all of us.
