VGL Hoptrans Russia – another foreign branch of VGL Group

VGL Hoptrans Russia is a new, foreign branch founded by the leader of logistics services – VGL Group. The Russian branch was opened in cooperation with its Lithuanian partner, Hoptrans, logistics operator, which has been on the market for over 20 years.

 

Our Branch in Russia is another chapter in our international development. We believe that opening our own operational branch, as well as the knowledge and experience of our partner Hoptrans, will increase the level of our service and price competitiveness – says Marcin Gruchala, CEO of VGL Group.

 

VGL Hoptrans Russia will be offering comprehensive logistics services in sea, air, rail and road transportation.

 

The main purpose of our new branch is to provide the whole package of logistic services in the local market, but also to support our current clients from Poland and other countries, and meet their needs when it comes to the Russian market – adds Marcin Gruchała.

 

The office in Petersburg is not the first foreign branch of VGL Group. Last year, VGL opened two branches in China – in Shanghai and Ningbo. Together with branch in Hong Kong they create VGL China, which is the VGL Group operations center in Far East.
VGL China has a NVOCC and Freight Forwarding Class A licenses which authorizes to conduct a shipping business in China. Business license Class A is issued by Chinese Ministry of Industry and Commerce and it enables to provide the full range of logistics services – from cooperation with carriers, through customs clearance, to warehousing and distribution.
